The Qatar Ministry of culture published the news via social media platforms that children now permitted to attend the international Doha book fair from 18th January to 22nd January between 4 to 9 pm.
Further stated by ministry that children are only allowed if they are companied by parents or by school administration staff if they are visiting as part of their school trips, on the condition that percentage of the children’s should not be more than 15% of the total attendees.
Further added by ministry that opening ventilation outlets in the exhibition area are arranged by book fair management as precautionary measure to preserve the safety and security of the children’s.
