Portland Trailblazer Damian Lillard is set to get new kicks.
This fall, Adidas is set to release Adidas Dame 4. The shoe will come in two colorways, namely the Rip City and Un-Dyed.
Lillard, drafted in 2012 was an instant hit at Portland. The same year, he won the NBA Rookie of the Year unanimously. He became an All-Star in his second season and received a contract extension from the Trailblazers. By his fourth season with Portland, it was already a given that he was the franchise player. Around this time, Lillard, who is also a rap artist during his spare time, became an Adidas endorser. Adidas came up with his Dame foot wear line, a flexible and light shoe, perfect for a scoring machine like Lillard.
The Rip City, which was coined after the Trailblazers nickname, will come in the team’s uniform colors—black, white and red. The shoe has a looped lacing system, mesh upper and Bounce cushioning.
The Un-Dyed version, on the other hand, is mostly white with a cream upper and a gum sole. Like the Rip City, it also has the same technological features.
Both Adidas shoes will be released on October 6.
